Thursday, March 14th, 2013

We get asked many times, how do I start using essential oils, when, what is an easy way…so we will add the ways we use them daily…please let us know ways that you use them….I will keep adding to this post.

Personal everyday easy ways to use them.
Day 1: 3 drops of Lemon in warm water and drink first thing before I eat breakfast.|
Why Lemon: Lemon is a great support for liver detoxification and the essential oil is safe to ingest in this dosage and method.

Day 2: 1 drop Sandalwood Blend mixed with face cream or oil put on my face before I go to sleep.
Why Sandalwood Blend: Sandalwood soothes dry, rough and sensitive skin; it  helps to clear blemishes and revitalizes dull and mature skin.

Day 3: 3 drops of Lavender Bulgaria on a bee sting, and I keep adding a drop until the sting fades.
Why Lavender:  Lavender acts as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.

Day 4: 3 drops of Skin Care Blend on my fingertips and then rub it into the keratosis on my left temple morning and night before I put moisturizer on.
Why Skin Care Blend: Skin Care Blend contains essential oils that support healthy, soft and nourished skin.

Day 5: Ravintsara 3 drops on a tissue inhale and carry into my pocket as I walk into the airport.
Why Ravintsara: Ravintsara is antiviral, antibacterial, antiseptic, expectorant and an immune stimulant. It can help to fend off all those germs we get exposed to in airports and on the plane.

Day 6: Peppermint inhale, air turbulence, deep belly inhales.
Why Peppermint: Peppermint is well known for its ability to calm an upset stomach, its rich menthol content also encourages us to breathe deeply.

Day 7: Sore throat, one drop of Tea Tree, then my toothpaste, and brush, after brushing one drop of Tea Tree added to a warm cup of water and gargle, twice a day until that tickle of a sore throat that want to appear, disappears.
Why Tea Tree: Tea Tree is wonderful antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiviral,  and bactericide. It is also gentle enough to use neat (undiluted) in this dosage and application.
