AromaCulture – Trustworthy Aromatherapy Education
By Caryn Gehlmann, CEO & Clinical Aromatherapist
In my last post, I shared the need for caution when it comes to all the misinformation being circulated on how to use essential oils safely. The good news is, there is trustworthy aromatherapy education available to help you make safe choices.
I want to share with you the experts in the field who I’ve learned to trust, for their high-integrity and commitment to excellent care and customer service. From now on, I’ll be introducing e3 community partners with you on a regular basis, so you too can benefit from their expertise.
This month I’m thrilled to introduce you to Erin and Jon Stewart, the owners of AromaCulture. Every month they produce AromaCulture Magazine, a digital publication that features educational articles, recipes and case studies from practicing herbalists, certified aromatherapists and holistic health professionals in our industry.
AromaCulture is geared towards helping aromatherapists and herbalists, but those of you who want to learn more about therapeutic plants and essential oils will benefit as well. One of the things I love most about their publication is that it’s not product-driven information. Rather than promoting a specific brand, their information is written by highly vetted professionals in the industry with the goal of sharing their expertise from their field of study.
I will be sharing my expertise on using essential oils in hospice care in a future AromaCulture podcast. If using aromatherapy in a hospice setting is a subject of interest to you, click here to listen to my interview, it should be posted sometime this month. You can also listen to and enjoy other podcasts. So much education at your fingertips – I love it!
There’s another reason why I’m a big fan of Erin and Jon – I think they love lavender as much as I do! In fact, that’s how we met last summer. They stumbled across my lavender farm and we instantly connected over our shared passion. Our farm, Lavender Fields Forever, will be highlighted in AromaCulture’s upcoming documentary on lavender. I’ll make sure to let you know when the documentary is available for viewing so you can see how the harvesting and distillation process works.
Erin and Jon have a lovely gift for our e3 community. They are offering you a free copy of their digital magazine. You’re going to love it! So click here to get your copy today.
