Lavender Arts and Crafts & Education at our Farm
By Caryn Gehlmann
I’m so thrilled that our working lavender farm, Lavender Fields Forever, opens for the 2018 summer season on June 15th! We’re located in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon and we cultivate, harvest and distill seven exceptional varieties of lavender for arts and crafts, culinary use, and oil production.
If you come for a visit you can pick your own lavender bundles, shop at the barn store for handcrafted lavender products or join us for one of our classes. Please visit our website, Lavender Fields Forever, to find our hours and directions to the farm.
We’ve added a lot more classes this year — ranging from gardening, cooking, lavender arts and crafts, herbal skin care and more! If something catches your eye, make sure to sign-up ahead of time on our class page because space in each class is limited.
Here’s the current lineup of classes at Lavender Fields Forever:

Who are our pollinators, and why are they important? What can we do to reverse their population declines?

I hope I get the chance to meet you at the farm. Visit our Facebook page and let us know how you enjoyed your visit. And if you don’t live in the area, don’t forget you can benefit from Lavender Fields Forever products available in our online store.
