New Product:Oregon Lavender Natural Artisan Soaps
By Caryn Gehlmann
We’re thrilled to announce that we now have e3 natural soaps available. These luxury, handcrafted, natural artisan soaps were made with love and with some of our favorite e3 essential oils and blends.
e3 essential oils are used by many soap makers – ranging from larger companies to smaller handmade soap aficionados. However, I have a special relationship with Leslie Colvin, a soap maker here in my home state of Oregon. I bought one of her soaps in a shop in Bend. I loved it, so I reached out to learn more about her products. She’s such a lovely, vivacious person – we formed an instant connection.
I learned Leslie’s story and how her business grew from making soap for friends and family to a successful enterprise. After retiring from teaching special education, she did extensive research, attended soap and lotion making workshops, experimented with many different soap formulas, and eventually began distributing her own line of soaps.
So when it came time to find someone to help me produce e3 natural artisan soaps, I knew I needed to work with Leslie. She and I had a blast working on the first batch together. (She enjoyed the selection of essential oils blends I brought with me. Her favorites ended up being Lavender Citrus and Lavender Forest – see more scent options below.)
Here are 3 reasons why I love these handcrafted soap bars and hope you will too:
1. They’re handmade in small batches from scratch using the cold process method. This ensures the natural glycerin is not removed and makes a naturally moisturizing soap, helping skin stay soft and supple. This is different than most commercially manufactured soaps that tend to be drying because the glycerin is removed! You’ll probably find that by using handmade soap that contains glycerin, you won’t need to apply as much lotion.
2. They feel (and of course, smell) amazing. They’re made from a blend of olive, coconut, palm, sunflower, shea butter, and castor oils, along with the e3 essential oils for an uplifting and nourishing skin experience. Lavender is the theme for all of our soaps and the lavender essential oils used to make these soaps, come from our lavender farm, Lavender Fields Forever in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon.
Our natural artisan soap comes in these lovely options:
- Lavender: Featuring lavender essential oil
- Lavender Citrus: Featuring lavender essential oil and our Revitalize essential oil blend
- Lavender Lemongrass: Featuring lavender and lemongrass essential oils
- Lavender Mint: Featuring lavender, peppermint and spearmint essential oils
- Lavender Forest: Featuring lavender, pine, cypress, spruce, fir and cedarwood essential oils
3. They’re beautiful and unique works of art. Only safe micas, ultramarines and color pigments are used. All soaps cure on drying racks for 4-6 weeks before being sold – no two soaps are identical.
You should know that each soap bar is made with care, love, and respect for you, the customer. Click here to place your order.
