e3’s Child Harmony Blend to Help Cope with Big Feelings
e3’s Child Harmony blend was specifically designed to soothe and calm children when they are upset, cranky, over-tired, wound up, or overstimulated. But wait a minute… they’re not the only ones who feel this way sometimes! So it comes as no surprise quite a few adults enjoy this blend too, as it helps them find a gentle way to cope with oversized feelings.
This blend is for children over the age of 3. See below for fun ways to use this blend to help your child (or yourself!) feel more calm and centered.
Here’s the list of essential oils in Child Harmony Blend, in alphabetical order. We’ve included the therapeutic uses that are relevant to this blend:
Chamomile, Roman: Irritability, restlessness, anxiety, tension, anger, stress, impatience, shock, hyperactivity.
Dill: Anxiety, overwhelm, chaos, upset tummy.
Fennel, Sweet: Emotional weakness, fear, anxiety, upset tummy.
Lavender: Exhaustion, imbalance, irritability, restlessness, anxiety, anger, tension, stress.
Mandarin, Red: Restlessness, melancholy, anxiety.
How You Can Use e3 Child Harmony to Feel Calmer
(Child Harmony is for children over the age of 3. The following information is specific dilution information intended for this synergy blend.)
Massage: Mix 1-3 drops of the blend in a fragrance-free, natural lotion and gently massage the child’s back. If tummy is upset, gently massage the abdomen in the direction/flow of the colon.
Diffusion: Use 2-5 drops of the essential oil blend and follow the diffuser manufacturer’s instructions to fill the air with a therapeutic aroma.
Aromatherapy Plush Animals: These cleverly designed stuffed animals have an internal diffusion cartridge hidden safely inside a “tushy” pocket. A multi-sensory experience of holding onto something soft and cuddly while enjoying the relaxation of your favorite aromatherapy blend safely diffusing. Read instructions on how to use it here.
Bath: Mix 2-3 drops of Child Harmony blend in 1/2 cup of whole milk or 1 teaspoon of fractionated coconut oil. Set aside. Fill the bathtub with warm water; add essential oil mixture; swirl the water to mix well, then help the child into the bath.
“Magic Wand”: Roll and twist a paper towel. Put 2-3 drops of the blend on the end and allow the child to wave it and breathe in the aroma.
Cloth toy: Put 1-2 drops of the essential oil blend on a favorite cloth toy.
