Lavender Fields Forever
Peaceful, calming, serene – these are the three words I would use to describe our new lavender farm. I recently became a proud co-owner of Lavender Fields Forever, located in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. This working lavender farm cultivates, harvests and distills seven exceptional varieties of white, pink and blue/purple lavender for culinary use, crafting, and oil production.
This is the perfect “marriage” for e3, since lavender is one of our favorite essential oils and we’re thrilled to be a part of Southern Oregon’s farming community. We had a great first season this summer and enjoyed having thousands of visitors, including local media like KDRV (Newswatch 12), KVTL (News 10) and The Mail Tribune.
Visit us in 2018
Looking forward to you coming to visit us in 2018. You can pick your own lavender bundles, shop at the barn store for handcrafted lavender products or join us for one of our distillation events or wreath making classes. We are usually open mid-June through mid-August. Visit our website for hours, driving directions and class schedule.
Lavender Distillation Workshops
One of the things we enjoy the most is our Distillation Workshops at Lavender Fields Forever. In these workshops you get to harvest the lavender, distill both an essential oil and hydrosol, and bottle them. You learn about the history of lavender, its many properties, and why it is such a must-have essential oil. You also get to take home your very own 10 mL bottle of essential oil and 8 oz. bottle of hydrosol distilled by the class. These were so popular that we’ll be adding even more classes next year.
Lavender Fields Forever Products
The good news is even though the farm is only open a few short weeks during the summer, you can benefit from Lavender Fields Forever’s products all year long.
Lavender is one of the most versatile essential oils on the market. It can be used on minor cuts to counter infection, to help eliminate insomnia, anxiety, mental fog, or to soothe headaches and bug bites.
