Safe Implementation Guidelines
e3 has partnered with wellness practitioners to help them integrate aromatherapy into their practice. We’ve seen practitioners face a series of important considerations, such as:
1. Choosing essential oils that will enhance your services.
The first step is to use only certified, therapeutic-quality essential oils. e3 utilizes independent lab testing Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) to certify essential oils are free of pesticides and synthetics, are unadulterated, and that the chemical constituents are in the range necessary to be effective for intended use.
The next step is to identify specific concerns that can be enhanced by aromatherapy. For example, if you want to use essential oils to treat muscle tension e3 Massage Blend would be a good choice. Please see specific recommendations for the following wellness practices: Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Massage Therapists and Nurses. (If your practice isn’t listed please feel free to contact us for recommendations.)
2. Educating yourself on the safe and most effective use of essential oils.
There is a great deal of misinformation circulating on the internet regarding the use of essential oils that are both unnecessary and unsafe. Therefore, it is extremely important that you learn which essential oils are safe to use, understand the chemistry of these essential oils, and know how to administer them in a safe manner. Please visit our Education section for more information on the safe and effective use of essential oils.
3. Purchasing requirements and sales support.
You should know that many essential oil distributors require minimum orders (e3 is one of the few that does not). You will also want to learn about how to effectively display, market and sell the products. We’re happy to help you get started or to answer your questions regarding implementing aromatherapy into your practice. Please contact us for more information.
