Why Use e3’s Argan Oil
Argan Oil is renowned for its rejuvenating effects, offering benefits for both skin and hair. It’s particularly nourishing for dry, damaged, or aging skin. You can use it to restore elasticity, reduce the appearance of fine lines, and promote a healthy glow.
Native to Morocco, Argan Oil is extracted from the kernels of the Argania spinosa tree. Rich in vitamin E, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, it’s an intensely moisturizing oil that helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors.
Argan Oil’s light, non-greasy texture also makes it a favorite for hair care, helping to tame frizz, add shine, and protect against heat damage. It strengthens nails and softens cuticles when applied directly.
How You Can Use e3’s Argan Oil
- Hair: Argan Oil is beneficial as a hair mask or added to shampoo, or use it after shampoo as a leave-in conditioner. Note: it may make fine, thin, or oily hair greasy.
- Skin: When applied to the skin, it’s a powerful moisturizer, locking in hydration and locking out environmental stressors. Use regularly to smooth out fine lines, and leave your skin feeling soft and supple. It’s an ideal choice for facial serums, body oils, hair treatments, and even as a gentle yet effective makeup remover.
- Blending with essential oils: Argan Oil is versatile and can be used pure or blended with other carrier oils and essential oils to enhance its benefits. When combining essential oils with carrier oils, follow the instruction leaflet included with each essential oil, paying attention to the safety guidelines.

Best Carrier Oil for Essential Oils
General Information About Carrier Oils
Carrier oils are also known as base oils, massage oils, and fixed oils. They are extracted from various types and parts of plants, including the nuts, seeds, leaves, and flowers.
Carrier oils are used in aromatherapy to dilute essential oils to a level that is safe to use on the skin. They mainly consist of fatty acids or lipids. These fatty acids have therapeutic properties that add additional benefits to an essential oil blend.
When combining essential oils with carrier oils, follow the instruction leaflet included with each essential oil, paying attention to the safety guidelines. As with essential oils, carrier oils can be blended together to create a synergy. For example, to make a rich massage oil for dry skin, add some jojoba oil to sweet almond oil. For mature skin, add some rosehip seed oil or for wound care add some tamanu.
At Essential 3, we select what we believe to be the best carrier oils. Whenever possible, we use unrefined versions of the oils as they contain more natural constituents, including vitamins and other beneficial ingredients.
