e3 Be Calm Spritzer — Soften the mood before trouble erupts
You can feel the tension in the air… maybe it’s your overtired pre-schooler, your moody teenager, or maybe it’s you feeling a little extra frazzled today. You want to soften the mood before things escalate. Change the atmosphere for the better with a spritz of e3’s Be Calm Spriter. This slightly sweet, fruity blend is designed to soothe raw nerves, ease tension, and relieve exhaustion.
This is a favorite of parents and teachers when they’re dealing with an overstimulated child. When they’re wound up and distracted, it can help kids refocus on their studies and ideally head off any temper tantrums in the making. However, please be aware it’s designed for children ages 3 and up
Our ready-to-use spritzers are 100 percent pure essential oils in filtered water, in varying strengths appropriate to their purpose. No need to mix or measure. The cobalt blue glass bottles protect the product from deterioration, and the spray applicator allows for quick and convenient use.
e3’s Be Calm Spritzer can be used as both body and room mists. On your body, it can provide an easy no-touch application. As a room mist, it can calm, relax, and balance moods. It’s ideal for the home, massage practices, hospitals, clinics, and classrooms.
You can also buy undiluted Be Calm essential oil or ready-to-use Be Calm Roll-On.
How to Use Be Calm Spritzer to Calm Ruffled Spirits
The spritzers are easy to use. Remove the protective cap, shake the bottle, and depress the pump about three times. (Avoid getting the mist in your eyes.)
Body Mist: Mist directly on your chest, torso, back of neck, and shoulders. To use as a perfume, spritz on pulse points, such as inner wrists, behind knees, and back of ankles. You can also mist a small amount in the palm of your hands; cup your hands over your nose and inhale the aroma. (Use only for children age 3 and up.)
Room Mist: Mist as high up in the room as you can; this allows the mist to fall through a greater volume of air space.
Keep spritzers beside your bed or computer, in your bathroom, kitchen, or car, or tucked into your office desk drawer or purse. Enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy everywhere you go!

How to Use Essential Oils Safely During Pregnancy
“Can I use essential oils safely during pregnancy?” is one of the most frequently asked questions I hear as a clinical aromatherapist. This topic requires a thorough, thoughtful answer, so I decided it was time to cover this in more depth.
First and foremost, I recommend you always consult your health care professional before using essential oils during pregnancy. Also, don’t forget that beyond your pregnancy, you might have other health considerations to keep in mind. Our approach at essential 3 is to always lean toward caution and best safety practices.
If you do choose to use essential oils during your pregnancy, go about it slowly and systematically. Listen to your nose and to your body. Studies show that as many as two-thirds of pregnant women become more sensitive to scents when they’re pregnant. If you react negatively to an essential oil’s scent, steer clear of it!
The Methods of Use are general guidelines. Individual sensitivities, desired results, and the characteristics of the essential oil(s) used must all be considered. Adjust methods and proportions accordingly.
For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep away from direct flame – essential oils are flammable. If pregnant or nursing, consult a physician before using essential oils. Store at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight.
Aromatherapy: The use of natural, aromatic substances, known as essential oils, to enhance the well-being of body, mind, and spirit. (This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA. No information provided is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.)
