Eucalyptus Smithii
Latin name: Eucalyptus smithii
Properties: Analgesic, anticatarrhal, anti-infectious, antiviral, balancing, decongestant, expectorant
Use for: Respiratory congestion, immune support, insect bite
Diffusion: Use 2-5 drops and follow diffuser manufacturer’s instructions to fill the air with therapeutic aroma.
Chest Rub: Add 1-5 drops of essential oil to 1 oz of carrier oil, use a few drops of the blend and apply to chest.
Lavender, French
Latin name: Lavandula angustifolia
Properties: Exhaustion, imbalance, irritability, restlessness, anxiety, anger
Use for: Minor cuts, scrapes, burns, skin irritations, headache, sleep, anxiety, tension
Bath: Mix 1-2 drops in 2 teaspoons of carrier oil and use about 1/2 of this per bath. Fill the bathtub with warm water; add essential oil mixture; swirl the water to mix well, then help the child into the bath.
Magic Wand: Roll and twist a paper towel. Put 2-3 drops on the end and allow the child to wave it and breathe in the aroma.
Mandarin
Latin name: Citrus deliciosa
Properties: Restlessness, melancholy, anxiety
Use for: Digestive issues, irritability, constipation, sleep, anxiety
Diffusion: Use 2-5 drops and follow diffuser manufacturer’s instructions to fill the air with therapeutic aroma.
Cloth toy: Put 1-2 drops on a favorite cloth toy.
Tea Tree
Latin name: Melaleuca alternifolia
Properties: Antiseptic, antispasmodic, digestive
Use for: Minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, head lice, cold sores, acne
Minor cuts and scrapes:
Band Aid: Place 1 drop of essential oil on the pad of a Band Aid; apply Band Aid to the area in need.
Wash: Add 20 drops to a bottle with 1 pint warm water. Shake well, then pour the mixture through a coffee filter; store in a glass bottle. Use to clean cuts, scrapes and grazes.
Thyme ct. linalol
Latin name: Thymus vulgaris
Properties: Antibacterial, antispasmodic, antiseptic, expectorant, antimicrobial, antifungal, disinfectant
Use for: Coughs, minor infections (viral, colds, flu), muscular pain, warts
Diffusion: Use 2-5 drops and follow diffuser manufacturer’s instructions to fill the air with therapeutic aroma.

Be Calm Roll-On
Ingredients: Chamomile Roman, Dill, Fennel Sweet, Lavender, Mandarin Red
Properties: Soothe and calm children when they are upset, cranky, over-tired or over-stimulated
Anytime: (Use only for children over the age of 3) Apply directly on your chest, torso, back of neck, shoulders, and bottom of feet. You can also apply a small amount in the palm of your hands; cup your hands over your nose and inhale the aroma.
