3 Ways to Bring Ease to Life by Cultivating Grace
By Caryn Gehlmann, Clinical Aromatherapist
“I wish life was easier!” How many times do we hear this or say it ourselves? It’s tiring to always feel stressed out and on edge. Cultivating grace helps us appreciate moments of calm, quiet, and peace. Grace is about being adaptable, in tune with your body and soul, and kind to yourself and others. This is our motive behind creating our newest essential oil blend, Grace.
Before I share why we’re so excited about this incredible new blend, let’s talk about how we can bring ease to life by cultivating the feeling of grace. Whether you’re under pressure at the moment or not, you need to care for yourself. If you’re exhausted, tense, or stressed, grace will be hard to grab a hold of. How can aroma “therapy” help you feel more grace in your life?
3 ways to bring ease to life by nourishing your inner grace:
Practice adaptability. Life is unpredictable. You might always get to work on time but then your car breaks down. You had a career you love but now you need to focus on being a caregiver. Adaptability will allow you to adjust more gracefully to the ups and downs in life. You can nourish adaptability by choosing to try new things now and then. Order something you’ve never tried before at your favorite restaurant. Take a new route to work. Roll on a new essential oil blend you’ve never tried before — check out our sample policy if you want to try up to 3 new blends.
Get in tune with your body and soul. One of the best ways to do this is through breathwork. Breathwork is similar to meditation in that it relies on the body, rather than the mind, to do the work of calming. (To learn more, read, 3 Easy Breathwork Techniques to Restore Calm.) The right essential oil can enhance your breathwork because you’re more likely to take a deeper breath. Take time to explore different scents, and find the essential oil or blend that elicits that “Ahhhhh” response. You’ll know it when you feel it, your whole body will respond!
Be kind to yourself. The key to showing self-compassion is to be prepared ahead of time. Take a few minutes this week to prepare an essential oil spritzer, bath kit, or massage blend for yourself. Then with the hectic holiday season approaching, you’ll be able to handle the extra load with more grace since you’re taking care of yourself.

3 Ways to Use e3’s Grace Blend to Bring Ease to Life
Visit our webpage for a complete list of application methods for Grace blend, but here are three favorites:
Body Oil: Mix 6-30 drops of essential oil in 1 ounce of carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil or sweet almond oil. Apply to your skin, especially after a shower or bath. Psst… this is especially helpful when dealing with menstrual cramps — apply to the abdomen, hips, and lower back.
Bath: Mix 4-8 drops of essential oil blend in 1 teaspoon of carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil. (You can also add the essential oil blend to 1/2 cup of whole milk or heavy cream.) Set aside. If you have muscle aches, add 1-2 cups Epsom or Dead sea salts. Fill the tub with warm water and immerse yourself. Add the essential oil mixture and swirl the water around you. Massage your skin and breathe in the aroma. Remain in the tub for 10-15 minutes.
Inhalation: Put 1-3 drops of Grace Blend on a tissue or aromatherapy inhaler and inhale the aroma through your nose. Pause and inhale again.
