Comforting Essential Oils for DIY Self-Care Recipes
By Marisa Lampert
We all lead busy lives, but the good news is self-care can be as easy as a quick spritz with a deep breath or turning on the diffuser while you work or sleep. When you’re feeling extra stress, there are a number of comforting essential oils that we’ve found to be especially helpful. To make your self-care easier, we’ve incorporated some of our favorites in our latest DIY recipes.
Often, when your body is not feeling well physically, it has an impact on your emotional stability, leaving you less able to deal with everyday demands. We’ve focused on cancer thrivers, survivor warriors recently, and how they use essential oils to support their well-being. Many have shared with us how comforting essential oils can be. Aromatherapy is a proactive approach anyone can take any time, anywhere to ease anxiety, stay calm, and improve focus.
The recipes below were recommended to us by nurse and cancer warrior, Chalese Skitillidie. But even if you’re not fighting cancer, comforting essential oils can improve and support any healthy lifestyle, and it doesn’t take a lot of time or energy to try it out.
