Essential Oils That Clean the Air! Purify Naturally
By Caryn Gehlmann

You want your environment to smell fresh and clean but there’s a danger to using heavily perfumed air fresheners, candles, fabric softeners, and cleaning products. Synthetic fragrances trigger allergic and asthmatic responses for many, and studies are showing just how hazardous indoor air pollution* can be. This is especially a concern for health and wellness practitioners who want their offices to smell good, without resorting to chemicals.
Since many customers are searching for essential oils that clean the air, we wanted to let you know about a special blend we’ve formulated just for that purpose…e3 Purify.
Our pure essential oils are a natural way to introduce pleasant aromas to the environment while avoiding synthetic fragrances. Sometimes you need an essential oil blend that is strong enough to overpower unpleasant odors. We formulated e3’s Purify blend to help patients with overwhelming smells in the cancer ward. Cancer patients found it cut through the unpleasant aromas and helped them relax.
e3’s Purify blend can be used in a variety of ways to keep your home and work environment smelling fresh and clean. We chose the following essential oils, not only for their uplifting scent but because of their anti-infectious properties, so they are truly essential oils that clean the air. Rather than aggravating breathing problems, many of these essential oils support healthy breathing.
Bergamot, FCF: Infections, deodorant, immune support.
Geranium: Infections, poor circulation, circulatory congestion, lymphatic support, immune support, general tonic, skin tonic.
Lavender Spike: Immune support, minor infections, mental fatigue, energy clearing
Juniperberry: Poor circulation, infections, lymphatic support, astringent, immune support.
Pine Needle: Infections, poor circulation, water retention, immune support.
Here are three ways you can use e3’s Purify blend:
1: Room Mist to Freshen and Clean the Air In Any Room

You can use this in the bathroom, the kitchen, at work, or when you travel and have a less-than-pleasant smell in your hotel room. Use it to refresh, deodorize, protect against germs, rejuvenate, uplift, relax, and balance moods. This is an ideal room mist for hospitals, clinics, and hospice settings. You can even spritz your car to get rid of the scent of stale food or residual B.O. from your gym bag in the trunk!
- Add 30-60 drops of Purify to 4 ounces of water in a spritzer bottle.
- Shake well before each use and avoid getting the mist into the eyes.

2: Say Goodbye to Smelly Feet with this Foot Bath
No one likes stinky feet! A foot bath along with essential oils work well for problems like athlete’s foot and dry, cracked feet. The bath helps soften and soothe the skin, while the antiseptic qualities of the essential oils can help guard against infection.
- Mix 1-3 drops of e3’s Purify blend in 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil, such as fractionated coconut oil.
- Fill a tub (deep enough to cover your feet and ankles) with warm water.
- Add the essential oil mixture, stir well, and immerse your feet for 10-15 minutes.
- Breathe in the refreshingly clean aroma and massage your feet.
- And you can spritz it inside your shoes, too!
3: Use it to Replace Common Household Cleaners with Hazardous Ingredients.
Do you love having laundry come out of the dryer with that lovely fresh scent? Simply add a couple of drops of e3’s Purify blend to a dryer ball to get a pleasing scent, without the chemicals! And the next time your pet pees on the carpet, try this:
- Blot up the initial stain, flush it with water.
- Then apply equal parts vinegar and cool water with a couple of drops of Purify to help eliminate the odor.
- Then, blot it all up, rinse, and let dry.
- Mmmmm. you just gotta love essential oils that clean the air so well!
