Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal—a most glorious time of year. Yet it also brings a few challenges to our well-being. Below you’ll find practical applications for common conditions and situations that you may encounter during spring. For example, spring may bring the discomfort of airborne allergies, rough hands, and backaches from gardening. Also included is a list of recipes to make spring essential oil blends, plus an essential oil recipe for capturing the essence of this season of rebirth and renewal.
Seasonal Allergy Relief Blend
10 drops Chamomile, German
10 drops Lavender Spike
3 drops Lemon
2 drops Juniper Berry
Mix essential oils together in 2 ounces of carrier oil or lotion and use a small amount to massage upper chest, back, and neck.
Gardener’s Hand Care Blend
Mix essential oils in 1 ounce of olive oil and 1 ounce of jojoba oil. Massage a small amount into hands and cuticles.
Gardener’s Spring Back Massage Oil
Mix essential oils together in 2 ounces of carrier oil. Massage area of backache.
